Studies have shown that today’s Christians are really not in the habit of engaging Scripture regularly. They have reverence for the Bible and they do believe that Bible has the answers for their life challenges. Researchers believe the problem is that they have no idea how to find the answers they’re looking for. Glo steps in the gap, providing a way to search the Bible by subject. Glo’s topical lens is what relates the Bible back to everyday life. In fact, “life” is the center on the topical network. When you click on Life, you see subcategories: Your Personal Life, Your Life with God, Your Relationships and 911 Life in Crisis. These include some very practical but also controversial and difficult subjects, but many times that’s the kind of Scripture that’s needed. Glo’s unique lenses allow one to browse content five different ways: Bible (canonical order); Atlas (major stories and locations mapped); Timeline (events linked chronologically); Topical (search by subject); and Media (HD video, photos, maps and much more). So not only can a person browse the Bible by subject, chapter and verse or by event, but one can also access tons of extra material that bring the Bible-reading experience to life, with thousands of high-resolution images and articles, plus HD video, maps, virtual reality tours, and more. Glo can get the Bible off the shelf and into everyday life. Glo's first release is for use on Windows PC, which includes laptops and slate PCs. In the coming months, Glo will be available on Windows Mobile, Mac, iPhone and popular Internet browsers.
